Queens Wharf

The ferrys' home berths are in the heart of Queens Wharf with our ticket office in the new Meridian Building directly opposite. The ticket office is right in the middle on the waterfront side. Our neighbours on either side are the Wagamama Restaurant (north side) and on the other side, Porto Fino Italian Restaurant! (No shortage of great dining options here!)

 We also now have new floating pontoon facilities for easy access and our new ferry office is located pretty much directly opposite the ferry berth.

We have up to 16 sailings daily leaving Queens Wharf for Days Bay.  The trip across from Queens Wharf to Days Bay takes 20 minutes if a direct sailing, or 30 minutes if calling into Matiu Somes Island. Matiu Somes Island is 20 minutes from Queens Wharf and a further 10 minute ride to Days Bay. Additionally our new port of call weekdays is Seatoun Wharf and we call in there on one sailing in the morning and 2 in the afternoon evening. Additionally in the weekends we  operate our round Harbour Explorer Tours (fine weather only please check on the day 4943339) calling in at Petone & Seatoun as well as the regular stops at Days Bay, Matiu Somes Island and Seatoun

On the trip, out you'll have great views back to Wellington City and really get a feel for what makes Wellington and its harbour surrounds so special. It's also not uncommon to see dolphins and other sealife playing in the harbour, and our skippers and friendly crew just love an opportunity to share with passengers their wealth of knowledge on the harbour, its history and inhabitants.
